LOGIN SECURITY
Man888 takes player account security seriously. Here are the layers of protection active every time you log in.
Every keystroke of your password when logging in to man888 is instantly encrypted using 256-bit TLS/SSL protocol — the same standard used by Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks. None of your information travels as plain text that can be intercepted.
Enable 2FA in your man888 account settings for an extra layer of security. Any login attempt from a new device or unfamiliar location will require additional verification via an OTP code sent to your Malaysian phone number — even if someone else knows your password, your account stays protected.
The man888 system monitors every login and will alert you immediately if there is a login attempt from an unfamiliar location or device based on your usual usage pattern. Notifications are sent via SMS or email so you always know who is accessing your man888 account.
After several consecutive failed login attempts, your man888 account will be automatically locked temporarily as a protective measure. This prevents brute-force attacks that try to guess your password. You will receive a notification with instructions on how to securely unlock your account.
To protect your account — especially on shared devices — man888 automatically logs out your session after a set period of inactivity. This ensures that anyone who uses the same device after you cannot access your man888 account without logging in again.
Your man888 account password is never stored as plain text in our database — it is stored as an irreversible cryptographic hash. This means even man888 staff cannot view or retrieve your original password. This is the highest standard of security practice in the industry.
ACCOUNT SECURITY TIPS
Account security is a shared responsibility. Follow these best practices to keep your man888 account safe from external threats at all times.
Your man888 account password should be at least 12 characters long and include a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and symbols. Most importantly — never reuse it across other accounts such as your email or social media. If one account's password is compromised, it shouldn't put your man888 account at risk.
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is the most effective security layer you can enable on your man888 account. Even if someone somehow gets hold of your password, they still won't be able to log in without the OTP code sent to your Malaysian phone number. Enable it right away from your man888 account settings after logging in.
Public Wi-Fi at coffee shops, shopping malls or airports can be monitored by unknown parties. If you need to log in to your man888 account while out and about, use your mobile data or at least connect through a trusted VPN. This prevents anyone sharing the same network from intercepting your session.
Man888 will never ask for your account password via Live Chat, WhatsApp, email or any other channel. If anyone claiming to be from man888 requests your password, it is a scam. Report it to the man888 support team immediately and change your password before doing anything else.
Change your man888 account password at least every 3 to 6 months as a proactive security measure. This reduces your risk in the event your password was ever exposed in a data breach unrelated to man888. Go to your account settings and select "Change Password" any time you are logged in.
Always check the URL in your browser's address bar before entering your login details. The official man888 site is man888.click — look for the SSL padlock icon indicating a secure connection. Be cautious of fake sites that mimic man888 but use a different domain. When in doubt, type the URL directly into the address bar rather than clicking on suspicious links.

Occasionally, man888 players run into minor login issues that are easy to fix. The most common problem is an unrecognised password — in this case, check whether Caps Lock is on, make sure you're using the correct password specifically for your man888 account (not a password from another platform), and try the "Forgot password" function if the issue persists.
If your man888 account gets locked after several failed login attempts, wait 15 minutes and try again, or contact man888 support to help unlock it with the appropriate identity verification. If you're logging in from a new device and are prompted for additional verification, that's a normal security feature — check your SMS or email for the verification code.
